If you have had the dubious pleasure of booking airfare in the past century, you probably already realize that all of them are NOT created equal. Sometimes one seems higher than another on a particular day of the week but not when you stand on one foot, close your eyes, and are wearing green socks. Seriously, the rhyme and reason to finding the best deal on flights is impossibly obscure.
While we at The Jetsetter Show do not proclaim to be the end-all authority on why airlines do what they do, here are some patterns we've noticed that might help.
1.If you have flexible dates for your travel plans, Travelocity and Kayak are good choices.
2.For last minute airfare search Kayak, Hotwire, and TravelZoo.
3.For international flights, we like Mobissimo, Momando, and Kayak.
