Grab a Pencil – It’s Bucket List Time

October 10th, 2012 by The JetSetter Team | Comments Off on Grab a Pencil – It’s Bucket List Time

who don’t know what we’re talking about, it simply refers to the things you want to do with your life before you die, or “kick the bucket.”

For an entertaining take on the topic, listen to The Jetsetter Show #45, where host Jason Hartman interviews Donald Vaughan, co-author of 500 Things to Do Before You Kick the Bucket. While we all have our ideas of what makes a good bucket list entry, here are some of the most popular from BucketList.org, in no particular order:

1. Have a plant named Robert Plant
2. Eat five pounds of bacon in one day
3. Hike the Appalachian Trail
4. Publish a book
5. Participate in a tomato battle
6. Learn Hungarian
7. Hold a baby white tiger (preferably while mommy ain’t around)
8. Eat Cajun food in New Orleans
9. Play a time travel joke (huh?)
10. Float in the dead sea (while remaining very much alive)

Whilst perusing the bucket list at that website, we noticed that a great many entries require one to travel, which requires money. In order to be able to cross most of your items off your bucket list before the big day arrives, you’re going to need a healthy chunk of money, a certain amount of financial independence, if you will. Harsh but true, we realize. If you already have more money than you can store in a gymnasium, more power to you, but if you’re still trying to figure out how to pay for the bucket list experience, we’ve got some good news.

Jason Hartman, founder of The Jetsetter Show, began funding his own bucket list travels by investing in income producing properties. It’s not hard and is actually much safer than Wall Street stock investing. If you’re interested in learning how to create true wealth and enjoy the increased life quality that accompanies passive positive cash flow, check out the home study course Jason created exactly for people like you. At a very modest price, the information contained therein can change your life if you let it. (Top image: Flickr | Muddy Funckster)
