JetsetterShow.comFew of us have the nerve to, for all practical purposes, drop the pretense of international borders and embark upon life as citizens of the world, living everywhere and nowhere. It’s ever so easy to become locked into

the routine of job and paycheck, job and paycheck, job and paycheck, a pattern interrupted only by inactivity, heart medicine, and an early death from hypertension. The sad part is you spent most of your life looking at the inside walls of an office, and the headache inducing flicker of a computer monitor.

Billy and Akaisha Kaderli saw the corporate writing on the wall 20 years ago, at the ripe old age of 38, and decided to retire in order to see more of this big, blue marble. This husband and wife team of freelance adventurers have spent the intervening years sailing the Caribbean, living one exotic islands, driving around the western United States in an RV. Asia and Mexico have served as respective homes for years at a time, though lately they’ve felt Central America calling.

Their modus operandi goes something like this. Total immersion in the local culture, characterized by thousands of volunteer hours spent teaching English, business skills, and sporting activities, always with the goal in mind of leaving a place better than how they found it.

“Sounds nice,” comes the usual refrain, “But how could I ever do that?” Well, the truth is you can’t if all you ever do is sit around and think about it. But if the urge to spend these precious few years on earth involves something more inspiring than the daily schlock served up by Ellen, Oprah, or Montel, check out the Kaderli’s Adventurers Guide to Early Retirement.

Their amazing lifestyle begs the question: Shouldn’t it be a scarier prospect to live the rest of your life in abject boredom than to worry about running out of money at 75? Maybe, just maybe there is a way you could leave the drudgery behind and develop multiple streams of income that allow for the slam bang, look-at-that-sunset sort of life.

Stay tuned to the Jettsetter Show for an upcoming interview with Billy and Alaisha Kaderli. We’re betting you’ll be glad you did.
